I like to think of myself as someone who is open-minded and embraces
change elegantly. More often than not, it is not the case. Changes,
especially ones that include various unknown factors, are terrifying. I have moved 5 times in the last 5 years. Some moves are simply just to another apartment down the street, but some moves are to a whole new country. The latter is definitely life changing. In these coming few months, I am embarking on another exciting yet scary move.
Snippet from our trip to the beautiful islands of Puerto Rico earlier this month.
Enjoy!
In lieu of the coming up Swimwear Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Miami, I thought I'd share my favorite Swim-OTDs this summer! Uncoincidentally, none of them are the traditional triangle bikinis nor are they tube tops.
This week's post is all about the flow.
Summer in Texas is starting to show it's color and it looks like the cold and extended winter doesn't have anything to do with cooling down the J-months. I've been dreading jeans short this year as I gravittate more towards the flowy option. I didn't bring one with me to Coachella (see my Coachella outfit post
here) and haven't touched one since the official start of summer. Because why get stuck in the heavy & stiff hot material when there are so many other lightweight options that promotes ventilation and movement?
Life is a journey. It takes you to places you've never been before, introduces you to strangers who would end up being lifelong friends and lead you to experiences you never though you would have. Life as it is. I've learned to accept where it takes me, though at times the steps to get there might be hard and painful- because stepping towards a thing, meant stepping away from something else. But I trust where my life is taking me, because everything happens for a reason and the only way to go is forward. The best thing about life is the memories it gives you. Every time you look back on the paths that you've take, I hope you see beautiful memories and joy. I am lucky to say that my life so far haven't disappoint me. I trust where it's taking me next and I am ready for the next adventure!
Why I love this outfit? So many things: White on White, Lace on Lace, Co-ording hard core, the girly crop top and best of all it has pockets! It effortlessly combines all of this summer's hottest trends and is also so refreshing and easy to wear in the burning hot (begining of) summer.
I got myself some teal hair and I LOVE it!
I have always wanted blue hair but the thought of being so different from everyone else is mind-blowingly scary. However, a wise young lady always said to me , "Yolo, life's too short." So I said back "Why not?" and got my life long dream done. I have never felt so much like myself before. & Another bucket list item: checked.
Have you ever woken up feeling like you got hit by a train? If yes, then read on.
Well actually, if you're just looking to detox, moisturize and refresh yourself, you can also read on.
Story is I went out last night and activities involved were lots of drinking and dancing. Doesn't help with Derby, Fourth, and Cinco de Mayo being on the same weekend does it? While I had blast, the aftermaths are not so great. This, we all have gone through. A bad hangover is not foreign to any one of us; I can be sure of that.
Besides from the headache and million other things, did you also know that in-taking alcohol in general dries out your skin and hair and leaves toxins in your body till days after? Well yeah, it does, and today's post will be your guide of how to cure a bad hangover, along with detoxify and (re-)moisturizing that precious bods of yours for the morning after.
Short n sweet post today for this Coachella left over outfit. If only I was still at Coachella this weekend... Oh how I miss the sunny dessert, only 365 days-ish to go until the next one.
Coachella truly is something else; in my opinion, the happiest place on earth. I've never danced so much, laughed so hard, and enjoyed being so squooshed and sweaty so much in my life.
Yes!
I finally am out of the broke-college-student situation and can finally spend the $$ on going to Coachella without starving myself
from shopping and food for months. I am beyond excited and have been reading on Coachella survival tips for months now. This post is a combination of the packing
tips that I have gathered with some added notes on my personal preferences.
A festival like Coachella is always tricky since you’d want
to always look chic and fashion forward while drenching in sweats from the 95+
degree and all the dancing, walking, stumbling activities. I don’t know about you but I would want to
actually enjoy the festival instead of always worrying about what I’m wearing
all the time. The items I packed with me are (in my opinion) the mecca of
comfort and chic boho style: light weight, loose, and colorful.
This post will be more of a pre-Coachella guideline of what
to pack with you. I will be posting outfits pics up along with survival tips when I come back from the valley .

A fiesta of colors and pattern is what it is. The much anticipated Peter Pilotto for Target came this morning in a whirlwind of bright colors and mixed prints with a wide variety of designs to choose from. These items are the perfect burst of colors for this coming Spring, into Summer, as we bid adieu to one of the coldest winter months. Read on more for a review of the collection.
